I just wrote a piece about revolutionizing the startup world with GrowthX. Sound like I bit off more than I can chew? Well, you’re right. I can’t do this alone. There are three types of people we need to help build this:

  • Capitalists
People who want to move dollars into technology. GrowthX wants to create a global network of these individuals.
  • Family Businesses / Business Networks
Large family companies can help influence and support new startups. If a large business becomes a reference customer, valuation of the startup goes through roof. They also help with due diligence to evaluate how well the product works.
  • Deep Domain Experts
Experts will massively reduce diligence needed to determine good investments. I might be able to evaluate a tech startup, but I’m lost when it comes to medical equipment or pharmaceuticals.

This network makes the potential to grow and fund companies huge, while making costs small. We’ll be operating on a global scale to find the best experts and limited partners across all markets and borders. We thereby raise trust and reduce cost in one fell swoop.

For example, we’ve found a startup in Nashville developing technology that predicts which HVAC units are going to fail. An LP in our GrowthX network works exclusively installing HVAC units. So I called him up and we had a blast figuring out if the company would be successful. He said yes, and now he’s a potential customer.

Another LP on our team is an actual robotic expert that installs production lines for large companies. Guess who I call when we look at new robotic companies that we’re interested in funding?

Ready to lend your expertise? We need a GrowthX team in every startup city on the planet. Let’s build a world where you don’t have to leave your hometown to get your business off the ground. Are you one of the three types of investors we need? Let me know. Send me an email at will@growthx.com.
